Goal:
Assess existing systems and develop new ones to track the
prevalence of all types of diabetes and associated complications.
1) Investigate means of utilizing claims data as a source of chronic disease
prevalence estimates
2) Investigate the feasibility of an A1c Registry in Massachusetts
3) Investigate sources of surveillance data for interpreter services by geographic region
4) Investigate surveillance data sources for communities/groups at high risk for diabetes
